needed help with kernel internals...
Dear all
Could someone please help me understand some of the kernel internals? In
particular, the urrent pci_write_config_dword(dev,reg,value) and the
obsolete pcibios_write_config_dword(dev,fn,reg,value) - where has fn
gone? How do I translate an old pcibios - call to the new one? Looks like
the lowest level of these functions is written in assembly, and I wasn't
able to find the sources (and even if I were, I doubt I would understand
it - last time I programmed in assembly for 8086, PDP-11:-)). And I
probably will have more questions...
Thanks
Guennadi
