hi,
	Is it possible to find out how many bytes are transfered to/from 
ide since bootup? Is the ide driver knows what is the maximum capacity of
the device if yes then how? I was also trying to figure out same for eth0.
most information is there in /proc/net/dev, thinking something similar to
that may exists for other devices.
