[humorix-l] Osama found in Bert photomontage

A photomontage of Bert done by a schoolchild has been found to 
have a picture of Bert with suspected terrorist Osama Bin Laden. 
Another child had taken a photo of the photomontage and posted it 
to the school's web site. After initial investigations, it was found 
that the photo of the poster was not doctored, in fact the person 
taking the photo was curious as to which character the new face 
was.

Soon after the anomaly was discovered the photo was edited to 
remove Osama. Some have not reacted well to the editing. "What 
kind of BS is this to doctor this doctored image?"

The Afghanistan Islamic Press Agency condemned the poster "Bin 
Laden has always represented hatred and intolerance, and 
Seasame Street is totally incompatible with that. In addition, there 
have been rumours of Bert being homosexual and the poster 
implies that Bin Laden and Bert are in a homosexual relationship"

Asked about Bin Laden's current whereabouts, however, a 
spokesman replied: "No comment."
