maybe a bug in kernel 2.2-pre9
I can't boot neither pre8 nor pre9 kernels, because it hangs up
when it tries to detect my scsi devices. I havn't so devices,
but I compile with scsi emulation in order to use the ide cd
writer with xcdroast. I haven't writed anywhere the message, but
it said that there was a timeout doing something relationed with
the scsi. I compiled the kernel 7 times patching forward, backwards
and forward again whithout changing any more to be sure that it's
the kernel...
Now I've a pre7 and if the pre9 becames the official 2.2, I wont use
it, I need the scsi emulation.
Rik, you asked for a bug. Now you have one :) (maybe it's too late?)
