tax on empty CD-recordables



Hi,

In yet another brainless move, the Dutch government has
decided to put a tax on empty CD-Rs because they could
be used to copy copyrighted materials.

In practice, this will mean that the Buma/Stemra (the
copyright holders' association) will receive money
whenever we copy a Linux CD. That money will dissapear
in the pockets of copyright holders -- exactly the
people we want to avoid by using free software!
