Once GCC is ported, that would make it a native compiler, right? <GRIN>

It's easy to see why I'm confused by what our development model is.  It's
not as 'Open' as Linux is - IE, people don't just write a quick patch, and
submit it.  Here, it's somewhat expected that you are a part of the
project.  That makes is a more 'Closed' model.  BUT - joining the project
is as easy as hoping on the list server, getting familiar with what is
going on, and contributing.  Of course, with Linux, you have to get
familiar with what is going on, and have to know where to send the patch,
etc.  Not too far from each other, and it's mainly a matter of
terminology.
