I think having an official deity is very dangerous. Not everybody will
be amused. I don't have the impression that anybody on this list is
particularly religious... I personally come from a jewish family, but
I am not a religious jew. Had I been, I can assure you I would have
not been particularly amused by this. I think the same can be said
for really religious people of any other religion (except, of course,
discordianism :-P).
So let's not do this ! For purely political reasons, this is a VERY
VERY bad idea. In a sense, it is a sort of discrimination.
PS, now that we're on the subject, I've never heard of Eris. Can
anyone give a short explanation ? ;)
