I can, but it doesn't matter. The chamaleon is the mascot of SuSE Linux.

I like the idea of a fox. Drawn in the anthropomorphized 'furry' style,
probably.
We could use an ant, for the same reasons that a bee would work.
Or a velociraptor. Works well in packs, can be menacing or cute depending
on how it's drawn.
A robot, because it's made from many pieces, but together they make a
single entity.
A gerbil, just because I like gerbils. After all, a dragon doesn't have
anything to do with UIs, nor does a penguin have anything to do with
kernels.
