Yes. It correctly (at least on my PC) detects the parallel ports, but fails to
print out something on my printer, even if I have followed specs to do it. It's
for this reason that I haven't release it yet. I have printed on a file the
output of a graphic program in windows, and read the file from Linux and put in
parallel LM. I suspect that since my printer is rather new, it force to use EPP
protocol, so bidirectional, while my LM is SPP, so (for now) unidirectional.
Tonight I'll put in CVS the code (maybe it's better to put in /research?, or to
release it in this mailing list only?) the new directory hierarchy for LM, and a
skelatal source for a generic LM for IOSK. Ans so letting other (as you :)
sniffing the code out.
What I want that you do: compile and execute it, and check if it correctly
detects your LPTs, and if you have an old printer, a dot-matrix one for
instance, check if some data is printed out.
And your SCSi controller? What about?
